About Us

We Work Hard To Provide You The Best Quality Products And Service

Welcome to Bosco Juggling! my name is Marcus Alouan and one of my earliest memories was when my grandfather took me to see a circus that came to town.  I don’t remember many details from the experience but those that I do remember will be with me for the rest of my life.  I remember sitting next to my grandfather sharing a small bag of popcorn, and I especially remember the motorcycle cage act.  I couldn’t believe the daring stunts that were being flawlessly executed before my eyes.  As we left the civic center that afternoon I remember feeling different about the world.  My eyes had been opened to entirely new possibilities that I didn’t think were possible.  I love that about the circus and I am so grateful to my grandfather for giving me that experience.

Our Company

Bosco Juggling was started in 2020 and strives to provide high quality juggling and circus equipment at affordable prices!

My second encounter with circus was nearly 15 years after my first when I was a new student at Illinois State University.  There I met a friend through work who was a part of the Gamma Phi Circus (the oldest collegiate circus in the nation), he convinced me to see a show in which he was performing and I immediately new I wanted to be a part of the organization.  I attended the next practice and auditioned at the first opportunity I was given.  I always enjoyed being high in the air and balancing as a child.  The first act I wanted to try at Gamma Phi was the tightwire.  I loved it and although I have had the opportunity to learn and perform in many acts since then, wire has continued to be my favorite.

I was able to continue working toward my education degree while learning as much as I could about the circus arts including performing, choreography, rigging, and even building circus equipment.  I was able to perform in acts such as high wire, flying trapeze, acro-sport, teeterboard, and Russian swing to name a few.  For the last 10 years I have been able to pursue another circus passion of mine which is teaching the circus arts to hundreds of students across many age and skill levels.  I love teaching kids the circus arts and I especially love to see to see their eyes open and their passion ignite, the way mine did when I saw my first show.

I am currently serving as the Director of my old college circus, the Gamma Phi Circus.  I love working with college students, and I am thrilled that I also get to work with elementary and high school aged children during summer camps.

Thank you for visiting Bosco Juggling, I hope you find props and equipment that will both facilitate and inspire your own passion for juggling and the circus arts!
